What do you think this could be?

So, lately I've been feeling this stinging damp pain on the inside lower right part of my abdomen. I feel it usually when I go pee or when my bladder is full... Is it my bladder or my kidney's ? and what could it be?
I am under a lot of stress lately and have been eating irregularly as well as keeping the same position for hours on my computer...(I do drink enough water though) ... It's been more than a week since I've noticed this pain and its still there...? Any clue? Thanks!
Answer:
It could be a Urinary track infection. Try to drink 3 quarts of cranberryjuice in one day. If it dosen't go away go to see ur doctor.
It could be an ulcer or a kidney infection, I don't know the symptoms of appendicitis but all of these can be life threatening. I would definately get it checked by your doctor. : )
Hi it sounds like a bladder or kidney infection. I just had one a week ago and had pain in the same area. Go to the doctor and they will give you meds to clear it up. In the mean time drink lots of water and cranberry juice. Hope this helped. GOD BLESS
It sounds to me like you have a kidney or a bladder infection. Call your doctor tomorrow for an appointment, They'll probably give you some antibiotics and send you on your way.
Best to see a doctor. There are many causeing - a urinary tract infection going up the ureters, a kidney stone, an obstructed urinary tract, appendicitis (it usually migrates from the belly button toward the right lower abdomen and doesn't hurt during peeing). They will check your urine and may possibly do some imaging.

What do you think there best hand cream is?

In Australia it winter time. We are have one the long cold snaps in many years. Anyway my hand are cracking from the cold and are getting soar from the cuts. What are some of the best hand cream or something better to stop the stingy.
Answer:
Hey, we in same area!I have to save Nivea.I use their body cream too - and I get extremely dry skin - even in winter.
Depends if you want no residue or not.My advice,
Soak your hands in warm water for 20 minutes. pat dry, then slather on some nivea Q10 handcream.Handcream seals in moisture so you put the moisture in first by soaking them.Deadset. It helps you recover quicker. What you looking for in handcream? Any relief? No residue? anti-aging? Nice smell?
hemp lotion or coco butter!
Neutrogena seems to have the thickest, best hand cream in my opinion.
im been using Ginvera Green Tea Body Lotion for few years, it's very good and smell fragrance too, but im not sure wether u can get it at your country. if u got any friends at Singapore or Malaysia, ask their favours to help.
garnier frutise nurti-pure detoxifying cream i use ever time i take a bath it
and it doesnt make only your hand softer but
your arms legs and elbows
it awsome
This will be your best bet on your hands I have never felt a lotion like this my mom has been getting it ever since we were young and it isnt alot of money.

Try looking in to Arbonne they have a great hand cream it's pure and natural and really helps -
(it's 100% pure, natural botanical) do not use any products with a mineral oil to them and if you can also find Corn Huskers lotion (yellow cap in the US it's good).
Try a new product recently arrived from the UK called Skinsure Active. A bottle of this will last 2 months on average when used on the hands. Forms a protective layer on the skin that remains in place even when washing hands. It has the additional benefit of killing germs for at least 3 hours after application. Great for when you're out and about and for dry skin conditions. (Is also non-greasy!)

What do you think of these diarrhea symptoms?

In the last 5 months-since vacation in New Orleans: lost 32 pounds, diarhea everyday, no giardia (test were neg) but liver enzymes were a little funky (sorry dont have exact numbers). If I can get more info, I'll add as 'detail'. Doctor is baffled as well.
Answer:
Make sure you get what is referred to as a total, or complete o%26p (ova and parasite). Some smaller labs may only test for the most common parasites in the US such as giardia and cryptosporidium. Also, may need to check for more specific organisms than what a routine stool culture may find, such as Vibrio. Were you on antibiotics before this started? If so it could wipe out your normal gut flora (much like a yeast infection in a woman) and you can get Clostridium difficile (aka C dif).
VERY SERIOUS.
You can't be serious...
Maybe ur having Amebic hepatitis. Check the stool for amebic trophozoites. Send the details.
geez thats kinda serious...hospital!
any other signs and symptoms like bloating, abdominal cramping, nausea and vomiting, yellowish skin tone(jaundice)? Any blood on stool? Have you been tested for any other parasites(usually ova and parasites test). Check out Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Most importantly, see another doctor. Not that your current doctor isn't doing a thorough job. Meanwhile, keep yourself hydrated with Gatorade maybe. Hope this helps.
This is going to be a silly question, but when you were in New Orleans, did you eat any seafood at all? If yes, you may have picked up some nasty intestinal parasite. My husband picked up a intestinal parasite when he ate some undercooked fish and had a terrible time. Besides the giardia, did the doctor have the lab check for parasites? If not, maybe you should have that done. As soon as the doctor knew what my husbands problem was, he gave him a couple prescriptions and within 24 hours he was doing much, much better.
I am NOT a doctor, OK, but --Let's be simple about it:ANY, ANY, ANY doctor that allows the info:
"DAILY diarrhea" past his ears without an immediate concern is NOT a doctor I'd keep.Beyond that, we have obvious evidence here of any number of parasites or organisms residing in the gastrointesinal system, and if ALL you did was go to a health food store and get: Renew Life's Para-Goneyou'd be ahead of the game for less than $40. And it's considered a beginner's parasite cleanse by many herbalists. Tell your doctor about it and expect open laughter. When you come back miraculously "healed" in several weeks, he'll stop thinking about golf for 23.6 seconds while he finds some way to dispose of the obvious:You didn't find a "cure", you just killed that which is taking your food away from you and pooping inside you, causing you weight loss and suffering.Weight loss is cute until the end, when it cannot be controlled.Take care NOW and find a new doctor if you must, perhaps a trusted osteopath or naturopath.
Best Luck in your health... :)
Any abdominal pain? Could be Crohn's disease. Check it out on the web. Sounds as if you may have it, but I'm not a doctor.

What do you think of the medical care you receive?

A loved one has suffered with chronic headaches for over three years....has been to the best places for help..no diagnosis forthcoming....and precious little real caring and help. What are YOUR experiences!
Answer:
It's adequate... but really you need to be your own doctor today. The HMO system has left us with medical care based on the bottom line, money, so doctors no longer have time to deal with you the way they would like to. The HMO system requires them to get you out the door quickly and with a minimum of expenses. If you want a real experience, go to a new doctor's office next time and tell them you don't have ANY insurance at all. You will notice that:a) They spend more time with you (and don't overcharge you for it, it's a regular office visit rate and not really that much more than an insurance co-pay would be);b) They consider more options for your treatment and review each of the options with you, so you can choose the best one for your financial situation; andc) They really do care about how much it all costs;d) They give you lots and lots of free samples of medication to try. (Seriously, some will even give you a bag to carry it all out with!)It's because they know you mean a lot less paperwork, a lot less hassle, and once you pay the bill (right away), it's done.I had to do this for a while when I went to college and it was incredible. It was like I went into a totally different medical system! I ended up happy to pay the hundred dollars out of pocket vs. a $20 or $40 co-pay that I would have had with insurance. The free sample meds ALONE made up for it, and I got a geniuine, old-fashioned 30-minute office visit vs. a 10-minute in-and-out HMO rush job.Now that I'm back on a typical health insurance plan, though, it's business as usual. And now, I spend hours online before ever going in, trying to self-diagnose, looking at all the medical info I can, finding out the treatment options, and looking at the latest drugs and their side effects. It helps that I know a lot about meds and general healthcare treatment, but all I know came from experience looking things up!THEN you can go in to the HMO/PPO provider and tell THEM what YOU think it is, and how YOU think it should be treated. They will either agree or disagree. 9 out of 10 times I've found they agree and off you go with your prescription. Now, this isn't the way to run healthcare, and I always feel like asking the insurance company for my cut of the physician's salary, since I'm having to do their job for them. But it's a reality of the system we have. And every time I hear about socialized, government run health care I literally cringe. The HMO concept was the original attempt at socializing health care and containing costs, and it is without a doubt a total failure. If the government does to health care what it did for social security and welfare and medicare, we're doomed. So what's better?Ditch the HMO concept entirely. Pay as you go for doctor visits (it will drastically cut the waste-of-time visits by people and their kids), extreme tort reform to eliminate all the extra CYA legal costs involved with healthcare and pharms, price control for pharms vs. international prices (make them the same, so drugs in Canda cost the same price as drugs in the USA), and 80%/max indemnity type plans for all other major medical insurance. That's it. Simple, easy. Cheaper. The HMO argument was that it would be more efficient (not), cheaper (not), promote pre-emptive health care (doesn't), and improve overall quality (didn't). A failure in all regards. Beware the same promises from government healthcare.
great

What do you think of the Gastric Bypass surgery?

Answer:
If you have a BMI over 50, it can be a life saver. I had it, and I am happier than I've ever been.
I'd hate to sound harsh, but I don't think this is a good way to go. It is undergoing major surgery that hasn't been well studied for the long-term effects.Unless the eating is irreversibly psychological, then there are other ways to decrease one's intake that is not so dangerous.
I know several people who have had Gastric bypass or Lap band surgery and developed serious problems after losing a lot of weight. Some people have even died from these surgeries. Don't risk it.
I have a friend that just got one in Dec. and she is so happy she has lost over 60 lbs without dieting and she has lots of more energy now that she is thinner so she is also walking and exercising. Still I would recommend a physicians point of view since every case is different.
It depends how big you are. 400 pounds? I say go for it. If you're 200 and trying to get to 120, no way! Its very risky and should only be used if your weight is likely to kill you in the near future. I'd see a dietician and a trainer first. You could shed 100 pounds in a year with diet and exercise if you are dedicated.
For some people it's crucial to help them regain their health. For most people it;'s best to avoid it and work on losing the weight another way. They are now finding some very scary long term effects that haven't been talked about before. ya know, like dying! They now say a percentage of people that get through the surgery fine will die withing a year. It also causes malabsorbtion of nutrients so health can seriously suffer. It is definitely not to be taken lightly.
I think that Gastric Bypass Surgery is a very dangerous .I will never have that type of surgery done because i think you should love your self just the way you are.we all want to be america top model but we cannot be that so think about yourself before you go through that type of pain.

What do you think of someone getting Weight Loss Surgery with a BMI of 46?

Exercising everyday and eating less and healthier has not worked at all.
Answer:
That is what we call "morbid obesity"...
You dont specify what type of surgery, that particular person will have.
In the past 20 years or so, sucking fat away from the subcutaneous tissue of the body, brought upon some relief (however temporarily) to the problem, that we have to take seriously.
A person with that body weight and body mass, index, is around 2.2 square meters in body surface...
It would be a great risk for a lenghty liposuction , mainly because the duration of anesthesia.
Endoscopic (not opening anything, and using a tube through the mouth) can place a saline "baloon" inside of the stomach, for instance, decreasing the capacity of the stomach, and giving the sensation of "saciety" or fullness with small amounts of food...
There are other procedures, such as bandaging the stomach through 3 small incisions in the abdomen (laparoscopy), procedure that takes in average 30 to 40 minutes..That is NOT a substiture for dieting and mild exercising after surgery, under supervision.. and will need some vitamins such as thiamine, folic acid, and B12, as welll as elements (iron sulphate) after the procedure..whatever that might be...
Its only guess work, since you didnt mention the type of procedure he or she will be undergoing, to comment such, in detail...
Hope that someone does the best after treatment..Cheers
It's a great idea.
A lot of people have done it, but a lot of people with higher BMIs have done it without...good luck to you in all your endeavors.
my wife need this done and our insurance will not do it.. i hope you are talking about the band not the gastric bypass.. you still have to exercise and you have to eat healthier.. in fact you have to make sure you get what you need in smaller meals.. if you can go for it.. 46 is high.. you need help like my wife.. i wish you luck.. be sure to do your research on this.. it is a big life change..
Are you talking about a gastric bypass or liposuction? Either one is major surgery and you should consider it a great deal before doing it. The healing process can be long and you can run into complications that you may regret later. It's also very painful afterwards unless you're drugged up on painkillers. But, once you get it done it may boost your self esteem and you may start to exercise and eating healthier. I'd look at the pros and cons before dishing out the money for any surgery.
Please consider other options first and think of this as a last resort. If you have spent any time with people in the hospital who have had this surgery you would see the complications. They are absolutely terrible. It should not be seen as a "good" option, only as a very last resort. And if at all possible consider something other than a gastric bypass. There are numerous other safer methods to loose weight.

What Do You Think Of Anthony Colpo's Book "The Great Cholesterol Con"?

Have you read it?
Answer:
No.Razwell, we already know that you have read it and think it is the greatest book every written. Why do you keep answering your own questions? Do you really think we don't know that you are the same person? Here is a list of all your aliases so far: Razwell, Razzi, Oldman, CholesterolFraud, Mike, Ashley, MissStinkyButt, and AustrailianGirl.
Yes I have read it. I think it's a 368 page DEMOLITION JOB of the cholesterol theory of coronary heart disease. Study after study is referenced.- over 100 pages of references
Mountians of valid contradictory scientific evidence is IGNORED by Lipid Hypothesis proponenetsAnthony Colpo will give a full refund to anyone who still thinks cholesterol causes CHD after reading his book.
Haven't read it, but from what I see on his web page, I agree.
No need to buy the book though- the same info is readily available.

What do you think of a boyfriend who does his own thing without consulting his grilfriend first . thanks?

we have been together for 3 years.
Answer:
depends on what that thing is. if it is something small like picking up his own dinner without consulting you when yall dont have plans, then I'd say you need to pick your battle wisely. If it is going out for a night of partying, then you have every reason to be upset.
he got transcortical motor aphasia I'm totally sure. just study this disease and youll know the reason and all of the important and valuable facts that makes the truth clear.
This happened to me and I dumped the guy.He bought a car and a house without so much as asking my opinion. It occurred to me that my opinion meant nothing to him and it became one of the nails in the coffin.
nothing.he have to do his things by himself. he cant tell you everything. do you ???unless of course you are married. all major decisions should take both participating.
If theres trust theres no problem...
I think it is extremely healthy. You are two seperate people living two seperate lives who are in love. Its unhealthy to ask permission if he can do this or that. Live your life as you would, share moments together but he should not have to tell you what and where he is going. He has his own life. Remember its a privledge being in his life not a right.
I think that would depend on what kind of things he is doing and what kind of relationship the two of you are in ( living together or not) ?
Just because you have been with him for 3 years don't mean that you are married. If you don't live with him and don't have a really strict commitment then I wouldn't think he would have to ask you if he can do everything he wants to do.
So if you could be more specific I could tell you my opinion a little more.
What does it have to do with Diabetes?

What do you recomend to avoid cracked hills?

I use sandals all summer and it looks horrible to have cracked hills or very dry...
Answer:
REGULAR FOOT BATHS AND USING A FILE TO SLOUGH OFF OLD DEAD SKIN. VASELINE ON YOUR HEELS WITH SOCKS ON AT BEDTIME or anytime you are just hanging around the house.
Sandals with back straps are not quite as bad as they do not constantly flop against the heel.
hmm goldbond foot cream worked for my friend
I have the same problem and the only thing I have done is to use a pumice stone to exfoliate the heels every day, use a thick moisturizer at night, like vaseline, emu oil, creams specially formulated for feet (preferably while wearing socks) and wear socks and sneakers as often as possible.Nothing has cured it, but the pumice stone and moisturizer have worked well.
I use a pumice stone in the shower every other day to keep my feet from getting calluses. Also, I use foot cream at night and wear socks to keep the moisture in all night long.
I avoid cracked hills by walking around them and choosing not to climb them.
Sorry I couldn't resist teasing you about the spelling error. We all make these mistakes sometimes, even when English is our first language.
I think you mean "heels". If you want to avoid dry, cracked skin on your feet, try using a moisturizing lotion.
put them in warm water and the skin will get soft scrub them every single day but put moisturizer lotion. and wear somethings close on your feet after that like runing shoes for the rest of the day.
It works for me...
Make sure you are well hydrated, too. This can help tremendously.
You could either have dry skin, or a form of athlete's foot. If it's just dry skin, buff with a pumas stone and moisturize with petroleum jelly. If it's athlete's foot there are products available over the counter.
it would be so nice if you people would learn to spell.H-E-E-L...not HILLheels are on your feet, hills are geographical features.
i would recommend a native indian rain dance

What do you need to major in to be a cancer researcher?

Answer:
Biochemistry. I am a junior majoring in this field of science and it is a GREAT pre-health degree. You learn so much about why things inside cells behave the way they do, what kinds of molecules can influence cells %26 why, and the scientific methods to learn more on your own. At my univeristy they even let undergraduates do health-related research in labs, one girl in biochemistry I knew grew her own stem cells to do research on.
A medical degree never hurts. There are so many aspects to cancer that there isn't any one major that covers it all. Cancer is being studies by physicists (biophysics), chemists (organic chemistry, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry), and biologists (genetics, cell biology, microbiology). Pick a field that you like, and then see how it applies to cancer. I'm sure I haven't covered all the possibilities.
It would help to know what science majors are available at your university, but I've made it with a major in biology. If you want to be more than a technician doing mundane work, meaning that if you want to have intellectual input towards the experiments you do, you'll also need to go to grad school for a PhD in cell biology/genetics/pathology.
I would suggest a medical degree first, then after about twelve years if your still interested you'll know the answer without asking.

What do you mean by first sighted or love at first sight ?

Answer:
To see a beautiful girl naked for the first time
This is under "Diseases %26 Conditions?"Hehehe... ooookaaaay...Sorry鈥攐n to your question, then:This refers to the idea of one person falling in love with another the very instant that the one sees the other. It comes from one of the definitions of the word "sight," used as a verb.To be more specific: "to see, glimpse, notice, or observe."We can add to that: "immediately upon seeing." Which might help clear up the idiomatic phrase.
it means when you first meet you just click straight away

What do you know about the condition called Fragile X?

I just heard of it. I understood the news reporter to say that there is a possible cure. Thanks!
Answer:
Males only have one X chromosome and one Y chromosome.Females have two X chromosomes. This is what determines whether or not a baby will be male or female. If there is a genetic problem on the X chromosome, it is much more likely to show up in the male, because he only has one copy. The female has an X from both parents, meaning that a defect in one may be overridden by the proper coding of the other x chromosome.hence, the male's x chromosome is "fragile".
WIKIFragile X syndrome is a syndrome of X-linked mental retardation. Boys with the syndrome may have large testes (macroorchidism), prognathism, hypotonia and autism, and a characteristic but variable face with large ears, long face, high-arched palate, and malocclusion. Additional abnormalities may include lordosis, heart defect, pectus excavatum, flat feet, shortening of the tubular bones of the hands, and joint laxity. Females who have one fragile chromosome and one normal X chromosome may range from normal to mild manifestations of the fragile X syndrome. The fragile X syndrome has an estimated incidence of 1 in 3600 males and 1 in 4,000-6,000 females. [1]
i read about it once in my genetics class...but that was many years ago.
I know that Chris Benoit's son supposedly had it, and it leads to small stature and retardation. How can a genetic condition be cured?Wikipedia Info:
Fragile X syndrome
Fragile X syndrome is a syndrome of X-linked mental retardation. Boys with the syndrome may have large testes (macroorchidism), prognathism, hypotonia and autism, and a characteristic but variable face with large ears, long face, high-arched palate, and malocclusion. The fragile X syndrome has an estimated incidence of 1 in 3600 males and 1 in 4,000-6,000 females. [1]
Martin and Bell in 1943 described a pedigree of X-linked mental disability, without considering the macroorchidism.[2] In 1969 Herbert Lubs first sighted an unusual "marker X chromosome" in association with mental disability.[3] In 1970 Frederick Hecht coined the term "fragile site" (in Renpenning's syndrome is not synonymous with the Martin-Bell (fragile X) syndrome). In Renpennig's syndrome there is no fragile site on the X chromosome. Renpenning鈥檚 cases had short stature, moderate microcephaly, and neurological disorders.Escalante's syndrome is synonymous with the fragile X syndrome. This term has been used in Brazil and other South American countries. The fragile X syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by mutation of the FMR1 gene on the X chromosome. Mutation at that site is found in 1 out of about every 2000 males and 1 out of about every 259 females. (Incidence of the disease itself is about 1 in every 4000 females.)Normally, the FMR1 gene contains between 6 and 55 repeats of the CGG codon (trinucleotide repeats). In people with the fragile X syndrome, the FMR1 allele has over 230 repeats of this codon.Expansion of the CGG repeating codon to such a degree results in a methylation of that portion of the DNA, effectively silencing the expression of the FMR1 protein. This methylation of the FMR1 locus in chromosome band Xq27.3 is believed to result in constriction of the X chromosome which appears 'fragile' under the microscope at that point, a phenomenon that gave the syndrome its name.Mutation of the FMR1 gene leads to the transcriptional silencing of the fragile X-mental retardation protein, FMRP. In normal individuals, FMRP binds and facilitates the translation of a number of essential neuronal RNAs. In fragile X patients, however, these RNAs are not translated into proteins.[edit] Transmission of the Fragile XThe diagram (right) of X-linked recessive inheritance is not entirely inappropriate but it markedly oversimplifies the situation and does not provide a sufficient foundation for genetic counseling about the fragile X syndrome. Technically, fragile X syndrome is an X-linked dominant condition with reduced penetrance.Because males normally have only one copy of the X chromosome, those males with significant trinucleotide expansion at the FMR1 locus are symptomatic. They are intellectually disabled and may show various physical features of the fragile X syndrome.Females have two X chromosomes and thus have double the chance of having a working FMR1 allele. Females carrying one X chromosome with an expanded FMR1 gene can have some signs and symptoms of the disorder or be normal. Although the extra X chromosome can serve as a backup, only one X chromosome is active at a time due to X-inactivation.Males with the fragile X cannot transmit it to any of their sons (since males contribute a Y chromosome, not an X, to their male offspring), but will transmit it to all of their daughters, as males contribute their X to all of their daughters.Females carrying one copy of the fragile X can transmit it to their sons or daughters; in this case each child has a 50% chance of inheriting the fragile X. Sons who receive the fragile X are at high risk of intellectual disability. Daughters who receive the fragile X may appear normal or they may be intellectually disabled, usually to a lesser degree than boys with the syndrome.[edit] Symptoms
Prominent characteristics of the syndrome include an elongated face, large or protruding ears, and low muscle tone.
Prominent characteristics of the syndrome include an elongated face, large or protruding ears, and low muscle tone.Aside from intellectual disability, prominent characteristics of the syndrome include an elongated face, large or protruding ears, flat feet, larger testicles in men (macroorchidism), and low muscle tone. Behavioral characteristics may include stereotypic movements (e.g., hand-flapping) and atypical social development, particularly shyness and limited eye contact. Some individuals with the fragile X syndrome also meet the diagnostic criteria for autism. Most females experience symptoms to a lesser degree because of their second X-chromosome, however they can develop just as severe symptoms. While full mutation males tend to present with severe intellectual disability, the symptoms of full mutation females runs the gamut of minimally affected to severe intellectual disability, which may explain why females are underdiagnosed relative to males.[edit] DiagnosisFragile X syndrome was originally diagnosed by culturing cells in a folate deficient medium and then assessing the cultures for X-chromosome breakage by cytogenetic analysis of the long arm of the X chromosome. This technique proved unreliable for both diagnosis and carrier testing.
The fragile X abnormality is now directly determined by analysis of the number of CGG repeats and their methylation status using restriction endonuclease digestion and Southern blot analysis.[edit] Treatment and current researchRecent studies have focused on a number of critical areas. The role of FMRP's RNA partners, many of which have now been validated through in vitro assays, is of primary importance. Also being examined is the function the various domains of FMRP, an RNA-binding protein, which is still relatively unknown. While there is no current cure for the syndrome, there is hope that further understanding of its underlying causes would lead to new therapies. Currently, the syndrome can be treated through behavioral therapy, special education, medication, and when necessary, treatment of physical abnormalities. Persons with the fragile X syndrome in their family histories are advised to seek genetic counseling to assess the likelihood of having children who are affected, and how severe any impairments may be in affected descendants.
I am not sure but I think it is a person who has a chromosome set up of XYX or XXY whichever is correct, this person is a male with an extra X chromosome with female traits such as wide hips and larger mammary glands. Or it could be a female with male traits such as a deep voice and facial hair.Sorry, I was thinking of a different genetic disorder.

What do you know about the Alaskan tribe that eats rotten meat to cure illness?

I've heard about this tribe in Alaska that will eat putrid, rotting meat and it supposedly cures all kinds of illnesses because of the good bacterial growth (or I assume that's why). Anyone ever heard of this? Do you know any more information or resources where I can find info?
Answer:
I saw a show about it one time. A guy had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and he discovered these Eskimos that claimed they could cure it. They forced him to eat seriously rotten meat so that the bacteria in the food would eat away and destroy the cancerous tissue in his body. It's been uite some years now and he's doing perfectly fine and he is completely healthy. It seriously works, it did for this guy. I mean, he was on his death bed and now he's just fine! Try looking on the Discovery channel or their website or something like that.
ఇ‌డ్PఓKణ్ ౯౮ః QఃఏV
Native Alaskans have been known to bury beaver tail, fetal walrus, and others until the meat ferments, then eat it. I think it is more of a ceremonial delicacy than something intended to cure an illness, but I'm not sure.

What do you know about Hepatitis C?

Just wanted to learn more about this particular illness.
Answer:
i have tons of valid and most recent information regarding hcv. please check out my answers.good luck to you!***hcv is BLOOD TO BLOOD ONLY*** you cannot get hcv if the infected blood enters your body UNLESS you have a way for the hcv infected blood to get into your bloodstream, ie, via open wound.
Hepatitis C is a virus that attacks mostly the liver, but also some other types of cells in the human body. It is a life-long disease that you can only manage, but it is unlikely that your body will erradicate it. Usually, it is transmitted by getting infected blood into your body from like needles, or transfusions. There are several subtypes of the virus and each has its own behavior. Many people do not even know they have the virus since it lays low. Other people suffer severe liver damage and die from it. I hope that helps.
I know that I had it and did the medicine by Shering and cleared the virus.
I attached links for you to learn about the virus. First hand knowledge is the best
It can be as bad or worse than HIV

What do you have to eat to stop diabities?

well my grandpa is sick of diabities and i need awseres on which foods he should eat to be healthy...
Answer:
Hi MavHere are some answers on diet and tips to help the healing process.Diet: Proper diet is critical for both preventing and treating diabetes, especially Type II diabetes. One of the most important dietary precautions you can take is to eliminate all refined sugars and sugar products from your diet. Such products include refined sugar, corn syrup, cornstarch, dextrose, dextrin, fructose, fruit juice concentrates, glucose, lactose, malt, maltodextrin, maltose, mannitol, sorbitol, sorghum, sucrose, and xylitol. Honey, Maple syrup, Agaves or Chicory syrup must also be eliminated if you are pre-diabetic or diabetic. Also reduce or eliminate your intake of alcohol and caffeine. Remove fast food, refined foods, processed "junk" foods, soda, fried foods, and all products containing white flour. Choose quality protein snacks between meals, or soaked nuts, and fresh vegetables and vegetable only juices as between meal options. To help your body better regulate blood glucose levels, also reduce your overall carbohydrate intake, replacing simple carbohydrates with complex carbohydrate foods. This means use whole flours and grains, beans, legumes, and fresh fiber-rich vegetables, rather than choosing to eat refined foods. Eating five to six small meals a day, instead of the traditional three larger meals, can also help balance blood sugar levels and prevent excessively high insulin spikes after eating. In addition, a vegetarian diet high in organic vegetables and complex whole grains, along with small intakes of whole fruit that contains seeds or pits, rather than fruit juice, has also been found to be helpful for many people suffering from Type II diabetes. Jerusalem artichoke is another food that can help diabetics control blood sugar levels. A diet rich in healthy fats, such as avocados, nuts, seeds, extra virgin olive, raw virgin coconut butter and high lignin flax seed oil also supports you in maintaining level and stable blood sugar levels. Many Type II diabetes patients fare well on a diet that consist of 55 to 60 percent complex carbohydrates, 15 to 20 percent protein (with a minimum of 45 grams of protein per day), and 20 to 25 percent healthy fats. In addition, you should increase your fiber intake to a daily level of 40 to 50 grams of fiber, with 10 to 15 grams of soluble fiber. High-fiber foods like beans and whole grains can be added slowly, perhaps at a rate of one serving per week, along with an increase in your intake of pure, filtered water.
Quick Action Plan for Diabetes
1. Be aware for early signs of blood sugar problems. Have the proper yearly tests performed.2. Keep in mind that the goal of diabetic treatment and self-care is to restore blood sugar levels close to normal and to correct related metabolic disorders. One of the best ways to accomplish this is by eating small, frequent meals throughout the day that emphasize fresh, organic foods that are low on the glycemic scale, such as raw and lightly steamed vegetables, low sugar whole fruits, nuts, seeds, whole grains and legumes, yams, wild fish, poultry, lean cuts of beef, bison meal lamb or veal.3. Minimize or eliminate your intake of simple carbohydrates and all sugars, as well as tobacco and processed "junk foods." In addition, reduce your intake of alcohol and caffeine. Both alcohol and caffeine could be enjoyed on special occasions, rather than daily or even weekly habits.4. Remain hydrated; drinking adequate quantities of pure water is essential for all aspects of your health. (I drink a gallon of distilled water a day)5. Engage in regular light exercise and stress reduction because they are keys to maintaining lower levels of blood sugar.6. Consider supplementing with nutrients such as B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, chromium, magnesium, potassium, essential fatty acids, CoQ10, alpha lipoic acid, and vanadium. Stabilized rice bran supplements can also be helpful.7. Herbs such as astragalus, bitter melon, fenugreek, garlic, ginseng, Gymnema sylvestre, and huerque can also provide significant benefits.8. If you have already developed Type I or Type II diabetes, combine the above self-care natural cures with professional care from a holistically oriented physician or other alternative health care practitioner. Particularly useful professional care therapies for treating and preventing diabetes include chelation therapy, food allergy testing, parasite testing and if necessary, cleansing, oxygen therapy, and professional dietary and nutritional counseling. Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine can also be helpful.9. Prevention, if you are pre-disposed and managing a diabetic condition, is a life-long commitment. By committing to the guidelines above, you can significantly improve your symptoms, and, if you suffer from Type II diabetes, quite possibly reverse them altogether. Implementing diet and lifestyle changes can help improve your energy levels, and your confidence in your ability to experience greater health.
Best of health to you and your Grandpa
have your grandpa ask his doctor for a prescription to a Diabetes Education Program -he will learn all about testing, diet, nutrition, and more. make sure that you attend it with him, so that you can be his Very Important Partner. this is a great role and allows the patient to be more proactive in his health.
He needs a simple plan from a nutritionist who specializes in diabetes. You could be an angel go with him and support him on getting the right foods into the house and make him a schedule if he needs it.
Diabetes treatment depends on the type and severity of the diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is treated with insulin, exercise, and a diabetic diet. Type 2 diabetes is first treated with weight reduction, a diabetic diet, and exercise. When these measures fail to control the elevated blood sugars, oral medications are used. If oral medications are still insufficient, insulin medications are considered. Diabetes: How Food Affects Your Blood Glucose

What do you do when your a diabetic, your hungry, but your sugars are to high?

Answer:
As the others have said you still need to eat but stick to protein not carbs as these will cause your levels to rise even more. If you are on insulin speak to your doctor about how to increase and decrease insulin as required. This gives you a little more flexibility (but don't use it as an excuse to eat whatever you want!)Exercise will also help to bring down your levels. Take it easy though cause it may cause a slight increase followed by a large drop. Make sure you have your glucometre on you so that you can keep an eye on your levels.
Take your insulin and eat protein.
Well first off your probably hungry beacuse your sugars are high.whenever my sugar levels are up Im ALWAYS hungry especially for carbs or sweet things...best advice is to get your sugars down %26 then more than likely your hunger will ease up tooIf though it is time for you to eat %26 your levels are high, if you are on insulin give yourself the proper dose to compensate for the elevated sugar %26 your dose for your meal. Dont skip meals just because your levels are high..if you are unsure how to adjust your dosage call your doctor he/she will be able to help you out
Eat some fruit or munch on some veggies.
These are natural sugars and include fiber which is good for you. Natural sugars are good sugars and okay to eat. Check out this website:
www.americandiabetesassociatio...
.com They have great food pyramid that is easy
to follow plus other important information.
Consume something with virtually no carbs like beef, chicken, or seafood. Have some cheese with a piece of ham. Hey, how about some nuts? Try unsalted walnuts or almonds. You could try 30-40 minutes of exercise. Just my 2 cents.
You didn't say if you were on oral medications or insulin.
The 1st thing below you could do, the 2nd you couldn't, unless you are on insulin.
One of two things:
The first is to eat something that I like that is all protein and very little starch.raw radishes, cold garbanzo beans with a dressing of a little balsamic or apple cider vinegar and olive oil (I can go through a whole can in one sitting). Or, stop at Burger King and get their garden salad (but use my own low-surgar dressing). There are foods that you like that are almost all protein and no sugar. If you have medical insurance, they pay for a consultant with a dietician who can steer you in the right direction. The second thing I do rarely, and is perhaps not as healthy, but sometimes, heck, you just have to have a plate of spaghetti (all starch!) when it hits you at 9:00 pm.
I look at the total carbohydrates on the side of the box per serving size, decide how many servings I'd need to fill me up, and estimate the amount of insulin units I need to take to metabolize that many carbohydrates. Then I take Humalog (the Lilly brand of fast-acting insulin) and eat the spaghetti and be done with it.
You can't make a habit of solution #2, because it will put weight on you if you do it alot.
I don't know, but I've been reading interesting things about taking cinnamon capsules to help fight insulin resistance/diabetes. Though not a diabetic, I've had a condition that is sometimes linked w/insulin resistance and I've been wondering about some things I've been going thru.
Anyways, I think cinnamon may make good reading.
Anytime I'm hungry my sugar is low.

What do you do when you get prednisone munchies and irritability?

I mean besides eating like a pig and being a b****. Lupus sucks.
Answer:
been there done that after my kidney transplant. It is called self discipline. I know this answer sucks, but at least you know its honest. As for the irritability, the best thing is having a supportive family or spouse who understands. In time your dosages MAY go down. After that the emotional roller coaster you are riding will calm down alot. I am only on 5mg 1x per day for the rest of my life and I do not have mood swings anymore. So there is hope.good luck to you

What do you do when you get common cold what is the remedy?

Answer:
green tea, lemon, honey. and very good it is too
one more : crushed fresh ginger + tulsi leaves + honey : take it orally one spoon thrice a day.
Hot herbal tea then meditate like...breathe in...breathe out.about 5 to 10 minutes.slowly.:)but the herbal tea alone is enough already.
Tea usually helps me with a soar throaght. Or you can buy airborn which is a tablet you put in water (hot or cold) and it boosts your metabolism to get rid of sickness and prevent it. Or take cold medicene like nyquil and dayquil (those work the best!) I DO NOT recommend bennidrill. Only take it at night b/c it makes you very very tired. And you can combine other medicenes with it. The only thing to do is treat the symptoms and wait till its gone! Did you know there are over 100,000 different kinds of colds? After you are done with a cold, you become immune to it but than another kind comes along!
Hv tulsi tea, keep warm n take urself to the doctor and ask for an antiallergent
I can tell you that I have tried every possible thing to prevent colds but my treatment is that there is no perfect cure for cold except time. If you take a medicine, your cold will go away in a week. If you dont take a medicine, your cold will go in 7 days! So time is the only thing that can heal your cold and mine too!! Sniff, sniff!
I live in the South where there is a big problem with sinuses. The "common cold" around here is usually some degree of infected sinuses. I take Claratin and Sudafed, and sometimes Tylenol Sinus.
drink tulsi tea and also add ginger in it.dont' worry small common colds get resolved easily
increase the level of your liquid intake drink tea, mixture of honey lemon and hot water rest a lot and sleep in peace and eat healthy meal not for example fried potato if it is due to virus then after at most 1 week it'll be gone and if it is kind of infection you need to consult a doctor to take anti biotic
The old adages relevant in this context are:Feed a cold and starve a fever,
is as irrelevant as the other one: You are OK if you take medicine for seven days, and if you dont it goes away in a week. However, the accepoted fact of life and medicine is that we have not yer found a cure for this most common malady afflicting the mankind.
cold is result of congested Bowel and poor digestion.STOP the normal food .
take warm water mixex with pinch of salt as much you can take. at a time. . fill your stomach. ... then you will have urge to go to #2, clean the bowel.
again fill the stomach with warm water .do this for 5-7 times and you will have very soft stomach.Your load on nose and throat will reduce and flow of cough in fluid form will increase this is also cleaning.then when you feel hungry take ripe papaya.
and boiled MOONG india beans green and small size-- mashed to liquid with coriander and ginger , green chilly, salt to suit your taste This should cure you from cold earlier than seven days
to be frank , there is no particular medicine for it,as someone ha mentioned earlier, it goes away in a week with medication, or else, 7 days, all the above mentioned remedies are for symptomatic relief, so the best way is to prevent it by respiratory hygiene and building up of Ur immune system.
I eat less and take rest and have a kashayam consisting tulsi leaves, pepper, ginger and sugar. Within a day or two my cold vanishes.
Avoid any common allergents you know as it can compound the effects of a cold.
Drink warm fluids- do not 'feed a fever and starve a cold'
certain herbal preparations may have benefits- green tea, ginger etc.
Wear warm clothing, and do not take a head bath for 2 days, you might catch a fever too
steam inhalation, and decongestant medications like cetrizine/ phenylpropanamine also help.
Carry a handkerchief at all times, and sneeze into it if need be- do not spread the infection

What do you do when a type 2 diabetics sugar gets too low and are confused?

he was confused; couldn't get him to move; was clammy; aware that i was there but did not know what was going on.
Answer:
Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2WebMD Medical News In type 2 diabetes, sometimes referred to as non-insulin-dependent or adult-onset diabetes, the pancreas produces insulin, but the body's cells are resistant to its effects. Because the insulin is unable to move glucose into the cells, the body's blood sugar level becomes abnormally high. Overview The materials in this section have been chosen to provide a solid introduction to your health condition.
911 Imediately 911
Get some sugar into him, try some sugar lumps soaked in lucozade or if he'll drink let him have the lucozade. When he's normal get him to eat a sandwich or something and keep a check on his blood sugar level.
Get him to drink coke, juice or milk, this may sound stupid but, make sure it is not diet! If he is unable to drink, call 911!
If he is unable to drink, get some karo on your fingertip and swab between his gum/cheek. Call 911 and monitor him.
when my dad had that problem gave him a drink of orange juice or a nibble of a vienna finger. they ar ehigh in sugar and would get his levels up quickly. They also sell a paste in most pharmacies specifically for that problem
Have them eat something immediately or drink something. A glass of orange juice, or a small snack will help. If they are real bad do that and get medical help. A diabetic can go into a diabetic coma or suffer shock from letting their blood suger get too far out bounds.
The best, quickest way to get a diabetic who is awake but not all the way lucid is to get him or her to drink orange juice, and plenty of it until he comes around and starts making sense. You don't have to call an ambulance or 911 as long as he is awake and able to drink. IF he is not awake, first call 911 and THEN get some granular sugar, like you'd put in your coffee, and put some of it under his tongue as this will dissolve and hit his brain pretty quickly, and it can also save someone's life. Good friend for asking and wanting to be better prepared for next time.
don't call 911 unless you really need to. I know that sounds awful, but they will take his licence away if you call on him for they will say it is unsafe for him to drive alone...etc. Do call if he is not breathing or has passed out.
Ok but that was my reply to the other person...
my reply to you is- orange juice. If you can get him to drink it. If not, before the next time he is low you need to get a glucose pen from the doctor , in emergencies when a person cannot eat or drink you can inject a type of sugar that will save them from coma. It is easy to use, and saves lives.
Also, go out and buy glucose tabs (CVS, any drug store) and keep some EVERYWHERE, in the house, in the car, in your bag. They are cheap and come in a roll kind of like tums do. If blood sugar gets low have him take one or more. They act fast and are easy to carry and have handy, keep some buy the bed too. Learnmore about Type 2 from a group, you need to feel confidant in what to do if situations.
Best of luck.
That's easy, given him something with real sugar or orange juice.
Have some fruit juice, or regular cola, you need to get your blood sugar levels up. When you feel better, have something to eat.
If he truly couldn't respond in any way (if he couldn't even drink orange juice, any liquid with sugar in it),
get a prescription for Sterile Glucose solution, USP, and insulin syringes from his doctor. Have the doctor also prescribe the number of units of glucose he would need to bring blood glucose up.Practice using the sterile insulin syringes by giving glucose "shots" to an orange (the fruit). If you can learn to administer glucose to him/her using a sterile syringe, and keep it handy, if it ever happens again (or if he actually passes out), you could very well save his life.
In Australia .. call 000 911 is only good in the USWhere ever you are in the world .. call your emergency medical service
^If he can swallow give him a glass of juice or milk, a tablespoon or honey, jelly, regular soda not sugar free etc to get his glucose up, they also make chewable glucose pills. The doctor can prescribe an inject able called glucagon, but you would have to learn how to give it to him. Call 911 or whatever the emergency number is where you live, if he is unresponsive.

What do you do if you're bitten by a cockroach?

Someone I know was biten a cockroach 2 days ago. 2 cockroaches bit her. The part where she was biten hardened and became hot. The area got rashes as well. Whe she scratched it, pus was coming out from the bite area. Will something happen to her? What should be applied to the area to relieve the pain?
Answer:
Yes, cockroaches will bite people sometime. They will pee on the person after they bite. I saw it before, and just like your friend; it will create the rashes afterward. Usually if you just KEEP rub the area with alcohol or antibiotic cream or the insect first aid cream, you will be fine. Cockroaches will go after food. When you just spell drink or food on you, and take a nap on the floor; you are capable to get one on you. Especially at night. They like damp and dark places. If you ever woke up with a red bump around your eye, most likely you just got bit by one last night. It went after the water in your eye. The other option to get bite by one is if you try to hold it. Keep your floor clean, and keep underneath your sinks dry. Don't leave the food out at night or any time. If you see Cockroaches in your house that means there are eggs somewhere, and they will be multiple with a lot more of them. Sometime they came in when you bring boxes of something from outside. Boxes of fruits from the market or something you stored away and want to use it. Look out for anything like that before you bring in the house. Sometime they just came in through the crack of your house, or just came in when you open the door. Spray! spray!! spray! big time. Ask me about the spiders next time. I will tell you in a details also. While Cockroaches are almost harmless, some spiders are deadly. Both are capable to be in your house and bite you.
Spray anti bug bite.Wrap it so u don't Itch it and see a doctor if the swelling doest go down.
She should go to the doctor, allergic reactions to cockroaches is actually a common thing, but if the area is hot it indicates there might be an infection, and in that case she should probably get some antibiotics.
Hope's answer is the best!
First: go see a doctor about this bite, if it's that bad then some anti-biotics should be give.
Second: if the roaches are this bad, maybe it's time you either move or fumigate. Get some bombs from Wal-Mart and follow the directions.

What do you do if your dog has parvo and starts jerking? this is day four of the disease?

Answer:
He's trying to trow up. But probably hasn't eaten in a few days, so he can't. It's serious and you should take him to an open animal hospital, TODAY.
take to vet they can keep a better watch and see what is going on, sorry to say if one did not get those shots the dog will suffer.
Oh my God, take the poor dog to the vet or emergency vet right now. They will know what to do. Don't be surprised if they say that he may have to be put down, but maybe not. In any event please get that dog to the vet right now. GOOD LUCK!
TAKE THE POOR CREATURE TO A VET, ASAP
Please see the web page for more details on Canine parvovirus. Survival rate depends on how quickly CPV is diagnosed and how aggressive the treatment is.
ARE YOU CRUEL / take/ him/ to/ the vet /now/ he/ is/ dying/

What do you do if you think you have skin cancer, but no medical insurance?

Answer:
i just went through this. i went and had the spot removed and tested. it cost a little over 200. that is without any insurance. but i worked it out so i pay like 25$ a month. just talk to them. its better to check it out then die.
you have to pay the bills yourself..
See if you can get assistance. Your doctors office or county health dept can direct you. There are programs for low income or people who are uninsured to get care. Good luck.
Baby, you go to the "free" hospital in your area. Every major city should have a hospital that "takes what you can pay."Find yours, set up an appointment with their dermatologist, ask about payment options when you call, and go get your peace of mind.
Go to any emergency room hospital they must except you.
You can also apply for welfare medical only through the state.
I'm in agreeance here with a few others. Find the local "county" hospital in your area. Usually you can set up a monthly payment plan. That's what my husband and I have to do until we get benefits with my job. It's better than nothing and the county hospital HAS to see you. They can't turn you away.

What do you do if you think you have been bitten by a bed bug?

Answer:
well, you haven't got just one. that's for sure.
look up their life cycle and needs.
wash the sheets, even though that won't get 'em.
sleep somewhere else for twice as long as necessary.
maybe put HOT WASHED sheets on your sofa, and sleep there.you need to determine:
- how long it takes eggs to hatch,
- how long before the hatchlings need to eat,
- how long the adults can go between feedings.that will tell how how long you need to stay away.keep in mind that besides in the bed, they'll be wandering around looking for you, 'cause they miss you.
vacuum often.
don't keep clothes, either clean or dirty, near your bed (or the sofa).or, of course, you can spray poison all around.good luck.
Wash your bedding in the hottest water you can, and shower!!
go to a doctor
Bedbugs don't usually carry diseases. A bedbug bite is actually a small incision they make to let blood flow and they justlick it up. Now the bad news. If you have 1 bedbug (and you're sure it's a bedbug?) then you have more. Strip all your beds, look along the seams of the mattress, especially at the head end ofthe bed. Bedbugs are kinda reddish in color, but they also leave a lot of black spots on your mattress, kinda looks like mold, well it's not,it's bedbug droppings. Check all the nooks and crannies around your bed. If you find them, you have to call an exterminator. Book a hotel room for a couple days. Good luck.

What do you do if you are fasting for a blood test and go on a glucose low? How do you not eat to bring out?

What do you eat, etc. I still need to take the test 12 hours later.
Answer:
the fasting is usually 8 hours. you can drink water thoughduring that fasting period . but not foods or juices. you can eat before the fasting time, for example, 10pm to am, can eat a regular dinner serving, then after that only water is allowed for that 8 hours, and then resume eating after they have taken enough amount of blood from you for the test
Are you insulin dependant? If not, it shouldn't be an issue to wait 12 hours. If you can't wait 12 hours without getting the shakes, go ahead and eat something, call your doctor's office in the morning and tell them what is going on. They will have do decide how they want to handle your tests, or if to try something different.
talk to your doc about it
if you are getting shaky or sweating or getting lightheaded you need to eat something now and perhaps put off the blod test for another day. Pay attention here. If you don't, you could end up having a major problem.
If your sugar is too low you need to eat and reschedule the test.
DO NOT drive with a low sugar and always treat a low sugar. waiting will get you nowhere except the ER in a COMA!

What do you call the most common dementia?

Answer:
Dementia is a loss of brain function. It is not a single disease. Instead, dementia refers to a group of illnesses that involve memory, behavior, learning, and communicating problems. The problems are progressive, which means they slowly get worse.
The two major causes of degenerative (non-reversible) dementia are Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia (loss of brain function due to a series of small strokes). The two conditions often occur together.
Please see the web pages for more details on Dementia.
forgetfulness? This is also a sign for lack of oxygen to the brain and aging and hardening of the arteries...let alone Alzheimer's
alzheimer's
Do you mean Alzeimers?

What do you call the memory disease which erases all the memories of a person and even can lead to death?

What do you advise me the doctor says that i have blood pressure?

iam a 9 month apregnant women
Answer:
I am assuming you mean high blood pressure. First of all did you have high blood pressure before your pregnancy? If not you could be having preeclampsia. Either way high blood pressure is not good during pregnancy. It's not good when you are not pregnant either. Decrease your salt intake immediately and do what your doctor advises and take any medication they give you (they would not prescribe something that would harm your child) They should be monitoring you very closely being that you are 9 months pregnant. If you don't trust your physician, get another one immediately. Preeclampsia is defined as the new onset of high blood pressure over 140/90 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) after 20 weeks of pregnancy, usually with higher-than-normal levels of protein found in a urine sample. Again, if you did nto have HBP before pregnancy, click this link to learn more about preeclampsia.
http://www.webmd.com/baby/tc/preeclampsi...Hope this helps and congratulations to you, soon to be Mom!!
It is normal, the doctor is right.
Do what your doctor advises... he is ther and knows the problems...
Do what the MD tells you. HBP is a silent killer that can harm you and your fetus.
I hope you have blood pressure, if not, you would be dead. Maybe you shouldn't be procreating!!
Go back to your doctor, or another one and say that you're pregnant, and they should be able to prescribe you with some medication. Under normal conditions, indiral is one of my favorites, but don't go on your own, you must be prescribed from a licensed physician. Also consider lowering your "salt" intake, use herbs or mrsdash instead.
having a blood pressure is good but i dont understand the question.

What do u think should happen to the 5 bulgarian nurses in libya that injected chidren with HIV?

5 bulgarian nurses and a palistinian doctor deliberately injected 426 children with HIV in libya
what do u think should they be sentanced to death
Answer:
I most definitely believe they have done it! They should be hanged because the nurses didn't even check or correct or prevent the Doctor from doing such a heinous crime. Medicine and human Life has to be treated with more respect, even if it may seem like the nurse is doing Charity work! When you work without dedication, these kind of mishaps will take place and claiming innocence later will not help the lost lives. Only the dead children's parents will know the anguish. The Movie ""Constant Gardner"" is based on this kind of a real life example...Lots of African and Indian states are targeted for these kind of medical testings...by European pharmaceutical companies! As long as there are corrupt Officials in this world, these kind of Incidents will happen...
And the perpetrators.. will always claim ignorance and get away with it.Too many Doctors and nurses I've come across, take up the profession for the paycheck...its Sad...
they should be put in prison for life
Jesus - I am off to Bulgaria on Hols ... I hope I dont need medical help... Exterminate them...
could people really have done that??
Nope! Make the punishment fit the crime. Inject them with the same serum
i think they should have the same done to them but dont give them treatment. then the they will suffer like those poor kids
They should be tortured then hung drawn and quartered.
they should be given hiv and no drugs to control it
Eye for an eye... same idea. Inject them with HIV and refuse them treatment for it.
a damn good kickin, then inject them with it and brand child abuser on their forehead so everyone knows they are scum for the rest of their miserable little lives.
Everybit of evidence shows that these nurses are innocent. It is totally outrageous that they have been held for all these years when they are clearly innocent. This could only happen in an Islamic country where the people have such scant regard for the truth and possess such outrageous cruelty..but of course we know why the "victims" are muslims and the Nurses are "infidel"This is another case where the Islamic world should be ashasmed of itself..Unfortunately the Arab mentality is so stubborn and arrogant this shameful episode is set to continue. How can you ask such a question??
Give them the lethal injection - they shouldn't be allowed to live - I know I can't play God and decide who deserves to live or die - but jesus there are so many sick people who commit such horrific crimes - and to children too. My opinion only I know but I really feel they shouldn't have the right to live.
no they should be infected with hiv, aids and let them die a cold death, how dare they evil. on innocent children not fair at all
They should be if that is what the maximum penalty is. After all, to directly infect someone with HIV is tantamount to murder. Those poor children and what a horrible thing for the so-called "caring" profession to do!!
They hadn't done this? Infection is caused from poor conditions in libyan hospitals. Libyan justice system is unfair and biased. There is no evidences that nurses have done it. Libyan autorities had tortured bulgarian nurses. I understand families of all infected children but why don't you improve your health system instead of seeking scape goats?NURSES HAVE BEEN IN PRISON FOR YEARS WITHOUT SENTENCE. BULGARIAN MEDICS ARE INNOCENT!!!!
This isn't an easy question... IF they did it, then I think they should spend the rest of their lives in prison. I don't really believe in "an eye for an eye", but I do realize that it might be different if it were my children...
I also believe in "innocent until proven guilty", but in Libya, I don't think they will have a chance of proving anything...
inject them, put them in prison and watch them suffer a slow and painful death!
well would say they should be injected with it too but no one deserves that - put them on a little deserted island with a couple of goats n some basic shelter, seeds etc. n leave them to it - that's what my nana would say anyway! did ya hear they're thinkin of using old oil rigs as prisons btw! xxx
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is difficult to pass from person to person. It is not very infectious and is almost impossible to get through normal social interaction.
First it has not been proven that they injected the children knowingly with the virus
Secondly with Gaddafi running the show in that country only his will be done %26 he is playing it for what its worth, in those countries everything gets decided %26 approved by the great ruler, just like he allowes his shore to be used to annoy the west/christian countries by permitting boat people to sail for Malta/Italy
Blair was very wrong in co towing to the dictator in Tripoli
The nurses have gone trugh hell %26 back %26 should be released immediately %26 compensated for their ordeal
I don't think they did it - why would nurses or doctors inject someone with something to kill them? They take an oath to help people, why on earth would they want to kill anyone? Seems very illogical and unfair to me. They are scapegoats.

What do u do if u r hurt and no 1 nose what do u do?

Answer:
This is hard to answer since it isn't specific enough. However, anytime you are hurt, particularly if no one knows what to do, have them take you to the ER or to see your family doctor. If you are hurt and no one knows what to do, they aren't going to learn that information fast enough to be of any help or medical benefit to you so have them take you where you can get the help you need.
It's simple!...let them know!..Well! its up to you if you let them know by telling them! or just keep quiet about it!...as I have said! its up to you!

What do they mean by there is no cure for cancer? There is Khimo, surgery etc...?

Answer:
Well, believe it or not there is no cure for diabetes, asthma, MS, cystis fibrosis, the common cold and a host of other human diseases . . cancer is no different. Cancer is over 200 different types and subtypes of disease, some more easily treatable than others. There is no one pill will take care of all of them scenario . . like there is with infections which are treated with antibiotics . . and work . . almost all the time. Cancer is quickly becoming a 'chronic condition' much like all the other diseases that remain treatable but not curable. What that means is that people are living with cancer. The best case scenario, of course, is to completely remove all visible signs of cancer and go into what is termed 'remission'. Many, many people go into long term remissions and never have a reoccurence again . . so is that a cure? It is for them. Others will have a relapse and be treated again . . and some can have multiple relapses and be treated for every reoccurence . .it just depends on the type of cancer and a persons overall health. What confuses the public the most is that they only hear about the advanced and severe cases of cancer .. so they think that all people are the same. They are not. For an idea about 'cure' please take a look at Lance Armstrong who had stage IV testicular cancer. He had mets to his abdomen, lung and brain. He underwent chemotherapy and brain surgery. That was ten years ago and he has not had a reoccurence yet. Is he cured? Well his cure or treatment was the result of a multi-modality approach to remove every bit of cancer they could locate and than use systemic chemo to kill the ones you couldn't see. But . . is he cured . . Probably, but since no one has a crystal ball . . who knows. The reason we might suspect that he is now cured is that the further someone gets from treatment . . the more likely that the cancer will not come back. Not all cancers behave like that though. There are some cancers that are high grade and aggressive and may lay dormant for years before reappearing. The best thing to do is to remain vigilant, understand the type of cancer you're dealing with, get treatment and than get on with living your life.Lance Armstrong Story
http://www.livestrong.org/site/c.jvkzlbm...And, just in case you didn't realize this . . there are many people who use what is referred to as 'Maintenance' drugs to keep the cancer from growing and spreading. The cancer may be present, but it is very small or located in an area that is inoperable but not causing any pain or symptom. These people are living with their cancer. They take daily pills to keep the cancer away or to keep it from spreading.People Living with Cancer
http://www.plwc.org/portal/site/plwc...
Treatment is not the same as a cure. Chemo attacks the cancer cells and can shrink tumour size, but it very rarely completely clears the tumour. Surgery can remove a tumour, but the nature of a tumour means that the cells can easily break off and travel elsewhere in the body and continue to grow. Radiotherapy can be inaccurate and difficult to target the tumour exactly. Officially cancer has a "survival rate" rather than a cure rate.
Chemo is not a cure. Surgury is not a cure either. There is no cure for cancer once it is has advanced to vital organs. Chemo is a bunch of drugs all thrown in a pile and injected into the patient. Chemo does more damage than cancer does. I know. My mother died of cancer and Chemo stole what life she had left with pain, hair loss, she couldn't eat due to the meds, she was miserable. I have a friend who refused chemo and lived her last days enjoying her family til her last few days of life. You need to do research friend. Chemo is no cure.
Technically, when the treatments work its in remission. There is always some cancer cells hidden somewhere. If nothing else kills you cancer would. This applies to everyone.
Because chemo and radiation do not always keep cancer from spreading or returning. That is why the term is "remission" when talking about dormant cancer
"Chemo" and surgery are not cures, only deterrents and some only for a short time.
There are no known cures for cancer, not yet. They have made many advances but, the money for the research isn't there.
Our Government would rather use this money to fight a war, to send rockets to mars and the moon, to use for aide to China.
I could go on and on. We waste more money on cosmetics then on cancer research, did you know that? They pay grown men to chase a baseball for millions of dollars a year, they pay golfers millions of dollars a year to "play" golf, while a cancer researcher has to have two jobs to raise a family.
This is one reason I had to leave the medical field, I had to eat. I know many others that had to do the same. The janitor for our building was getting more wages then we were.

What do they do to ppl in the hospital who are dehidrated?

last night i was very dehidrated when i got home but i didn't go to the ER what do they do when your dehodrated??
Answer:
It depends on how severly you are dehydrated! If you have to go into the hospital, then they hook you up to IV and get you hydrated back up!! Pretty simple. But if you don't get to the hospital when you are severly dehydrated, you body starts breaking down using everything it can, possibly damaging your organs!!
carla
they give you intravenous fluids the rehydrate you. they give you an IV basically and put saline with lactated ringers (vitamins) in your body so you don't die.
if you get dehydrated
they take you to the hospital
and they don't have you drink anything
they put a tube down your throat that puts water into you
just like a feeding tube
I.V. Drip = water + electrolytes (necessary salts and potassium)
hi, i'm prone to dehydration and go to the ER alot esp. if I've had the flu or a viral infection. They hook you up to an IV w/lactated rings and if necessary potassium along with other nutrients you may be lacking.it is really important to drink plenty of water or Propel/Gatoraid so you don't lose the nutrients your body needs to keep functioning. Going to the ER is no fun so take care of yourself.
They give you an I.V., until you are hydrated again. They say that a person can die quickly if dehydration is not treated.

What do these symtoms mean?

frequent headaches, bad eyesight, frequent nausea, shaking, spots on my legs go numb, very oily lately, breakouts or little lumps come up. slight fever. ??
Answer:
Could be Lupus. Frequent headaches, impaired eyesight, nausea, and low grade, unexplained fevers are common symptoms of Lupus. But most of us here on Yahoo! are not doctors and even if we were, a physician cannot diagnose ANY disorder or disease via the Internet. You need to be seen by your family physician.
Sweetie, that's a crazy bunch of symptoms, and we at Yahoo, unless medically trained, won't have any idea what's going on. Save yourself the trouble and see a doctor. If she doesn't give you an answer you're comfortable with, consult a diagnostician (dr. who specializes in finding what's wrong).
Wow how old are you? You need to go to the ER. whatever it is, you will need meds and yahoo can't give those.
Please go and let us know what it is and how your doing.
I hope it it not serious as it sound.
Get well soon.
May the Lord bless you, and keep you: make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
How old are you? Your age could be part of the solving the issues equation. In all honesty, and with a bit of worry, please listen to all who have told you to go to a doctor NOW. There are county health departments, free clinics, and clinics that require payment but do so based on your financial ability to pay. Check out the yellow pages in your phone book. You are going to need a "look over" and blood work. The answers are not here -- see a doctor!!

What do strong creases down the middle of the length of your finger nails mean?

I'm not sure if it means they could indicate a heart problem...Has anyone ever heared of this
Answer:
it means that you don't eat enough veggies
It has nothing to do with your heart. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and you will have healthy nails.
See the following site for pictures and what the conditions refer to....
http://clevelandclinicmeded.com/diseasem...
I've always heard it happens as we get older, never
heard of it being because of any health problem.
I don't know your age so don't know if that applies to you.
I've seen it often in older adults.
my aunt has a heart condition and her fingernails are clubbed not ridged,it can indicate a lack of zinc in your diet or that stress is effecting you adversely. ask your GP to refer you to a nutritionist.

What do people mix into cocaine that can kill you?

Answer:
Some common additives are mannitol, lactose, glucose, sugar substitutes, tetracaine, procaine, lidocaine, quinine, talc, cornstarch, heroin, codeine, amphetamine, phencyclidine (PCP), LSD, hashish... some dealers add whatever household product happens to be around, like baking powder, baking soda, powdered drain cleaner (Drano), powdered scrubbing cleanser (Comet)... look in your cabinets and under you sink, and most of what you see has probably been added to cocaine at some point. Some drug dealers mix this stuff into their cocaine and laugh about it. Maybe some of these additives won't kill you, but they won't help your health either.
Since cocaine hydrochloride is mixed or cut with other chemicals, people have no idea if the dose will be strong or weak. These other chemicals may include fillers, such as talcum powder, which are added purely to boost profits. 鈥楩reebase鈥?cocaine or 鈥榗rack鈥?is processed differently and can be smoked; this type is still rarely used in Australia. Common slang terms for cocaine include 鈥榗oke鈥? 鈥榖low鈥?and 鈥榮tardust鈥?
http://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/bhcv2...It is sometimes "cut," or mixed, with things that look like it, such as cornstarch or talcum powder, or with other drugs, such as local anesthetics or amphetamines.

rat poison is one of the most popular.there's a million things though.

What do people get from smoking?

its hard for smokers to quit from smoking...im a non smoker, but i just wondering what do people actually get from smoking?
Answer:
Diseases of the respiratory tract, mostly. This can be chronic bronchitis, emphysema, throat cancer, mouth cancer and lung cancer.
Smokers are also at greater risk of having a heart attack, have stained teeth and hands, and can permanently damage their vocal chords. So anyone who wants to quit should be given all support imaginable.
Lung cancer!
Lung Cancer, bad breath, yellow teeth, black lungs, Chronic respitory diseases like bronchitas, smokers cough, emphazema, and i am sure there r more, i just don't know them
It is different for everyone. Smoking curbs your appetite. It is a socially exclusive thing. Almost like you are in your own club. For some it calms them down, for some it hypes them up. It really depends. There is no denying that smoking is horrible for your health but once you are addicted it is difficult to quit so you have to find the perks.
well since there's only god knows what in cigarettes, who knows.
the major effect is lung cancer.
umm its not really hard to quit, you just have to be mentally smart and stand strong.those tabacco commercials are really putting out valuable information to the public about tabacco industries. They tell alot of effects and what they also put in cigarettes.im not gonna lie i do smoke but not like up the *** just when im stressing.its gross but i feel relived after, if i could i would go back and never start. i can quit i have before. you just have to have the mentality.
For starters, smoking is incredibly addictive. Some studies say that nicotine is more addictive than heroin or cocaine. When I used to smoke, I used to enjoy the flavor of the cigarette, the ritual and the feeling of calm. That feeling of calm was probably form me relaxing that I'd get my nicotine fix.It got old fast and I knew I needed to quit. It took a while, and a few attempts, But I did do it. Now I can't stand the smell of them. Tobacco is a nasty, addictive and destructive drug. It is much more harmful and addictive than that other favorite smokable, marijuana. Frankly, I'd rather catch my children sneaking alcohol when they are teenagers than cigarettes.
It's a great way to piss off the politically correct %26 tree huggers with the fringe benefit of them possibly getting lung cancer from second hand smoke. The health Nazis %26 control freaks are continually searching for other ways to dictate how we should live our lives to conform to their ideals.
It causes the brain to release endorphins which give you a feeling of "highness" but not like illegal drugs. It is still very addictive.
i've been smoking since i was 16, now at 52, i wish i'd never started. i have alot of healt problems and my whole life style has slowed alot because i just can't breath. i hate it, and even so i'll go to my grave with a cig. in my mouth. i've tried to quit a million times and it's never worked. yeh, it makes me feel like a weak person, and a stupid one.
a lot of bills from doctor

What do oral warts look like? i have a clear small bump in mouth what can it be?

it always goes away but comes back in the same place. stays for a day or two and goes away for weeks or days at a time?
Answer:
If it's painful/sensitive to the touch it may be an ulcer. Decrease your sodium intake.
Hm, honestly that sounds like it could be some kind of herpes; I'd get it checked out.

What do my symptoms point to?

I just got back from my rheumatologist. Looks like I do not have arthritis, lupus, my blood sugar is fine (no diabetes), no Lymes disease.
Heres what I do have: Severe pain in my hands especially at night and in the morning, but also throughout the day. It is less my wrists and more my middle and pointer fingers. I have a hard time straightening my hands which my MD says is not typical of carpal tunnel.
I have pain in my knees in middle of night and mornings.
My hands go numb when I am driving, or having them upright.
My shoulder was hurting/ clicking for a while, felt like a torn rotator cuff, but I stopped working out and that seems to have stopped.
I am worried that the inflammation is cancer?
Answer:
II can tell by your description that you are a little depressed; more like alot because you are feeling like you -what in the
heck is wrong-with me I know something is wrong am i crazy? Right???
______________________W-E-L-L_...- I am going to be your little voice telling you: DO NOT GIVE UP! - LIKE I WAS TOLD BY SOMEONE ELSE- You
know your body best and there is a reason for why you are feeling the way you doMy dr has a new attitude, WITH THE RESULTS OF MY LAST TESTS... CAN I SHARE A SCENARIO: -I spent the last year and a half going thru heart tests (passsed with flying colors) CT scans, AND it was not my heart at all...however, NUMBNESS, ETC -- and it was turing to PAIN%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; well after several specialists and a bunch of tests, my dr finally sent me to a NEUROLOGIST...
I found out a number of things; I have been able to get off a few meds and I feel better already!
-- 1. I was on topamax for migraines, GONE
-- 2 i was on BP meds, the topomax was causing heart pain and chest pain and the exact same symptoms in my r arm ( tightness and the numbness) BUT since it is a pinched nerver- GONE another med!I didn't give up complaining, my DR referred me to a neurologist and did a bunch of neurological tests and found the problems!!
my dr finally sent me to a NEUROLOGIST...
WHAT A RELIEF!OK truth be known, because -- I was dealing with the same thing. I found out i have a PINCHED nerves - occipital (head) and ulnar nerve at my elbow. .before suggesting, I would Take inventory of all that you have done:
, injuries, meds, falls all dr reports etc. I did and this is what the results were: I had fallen, but I had no pain, however, within a month, I was not able to 'grasp " the steering wheel- my r side of my face- ear top of head and back of it wer all going NUMB-- freaked me out and I thought i had a stroke- lol I kept telling the Dr and he was getting flustered. however - YOU KNOW DEEP DOWN THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG
DO I used to type up a storm and have no errors- I am down to hunting and pecking- LOL (well - not that bad yet--)
I had an MRI of my neck and head. The reports were that I had a herniated disk right at the base of my scull and that Occipital nerve and also my 3 fingers middle ring and pinky were going numb all the time.Eventually I will have surgery, but what was recommended is a soft elbow pad- to give it a little rest - do not lean on the elbow. My shoulder neck all of it was hurting so bad and i was also thinking that the brain tumor i have had gotten bigger-WHAT A RELIEF TO FIND OUT - some NERVE is just acting up ONE irritated little bugger ! LOL.rest assured no cancer!KEEP TRYING TILL U GET THE ANSWERS AND IF U NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO - EMAIL OR MSG ME
I know for me its called getting older. As you age, joints just hurt for no reason.
check out webmd
First I do not think its cancer. second I do not know your age, but the closer to 40 the pain just starts. I do have Lupus, and I know in that and even non ill people, you van have non joint damaging arthritis. escpecially if you do a lot of strength traing, grabing the barbells, bending knees, etc are hard on the joints, and it is all from the repetitive motions. If you in your 30's or 40's, even 20 and lift a lot you may have some arthritis. as you age cartlidge and collegen begin to break down, causing early morning and evening pain. My husband lifted for years, and stopped at 29 for that reason. But at almopst 40 has a physical job, so still does some weighty stuff, so gets sore knees, etc. I have the lupus, so my hands tend to hurt, and in rain, my knees. I swim now to keep in shape, and rid pain. though you still get a workout burn, so I do know I am still burning fat and toning up. But easy on joints.
hope that helped. Oh shoulder, same thing with the weights, repetitive motion at whatever weight you where using.

What do Lupus, Parkinsons & M.S. have in common? Also are their symptions the same ???

Answer:
Lups and MS can be quite similar and both are autoimmune diseases. Lupus while not always attacking the central nervous system often does, and it can take quite some time to distingisue which disease is which, depending on progression of symptoms, and test results, MRI's and Spinal Tap Results. I have been tested for both over the years, mine came back as Lupus, with central nervous system disorders, my mylan sheeth which diteriorates in MS was in tact. But with both you can loose cognitive abilities, muscle control, cordination, etcParkinsons is also a dysfunction of the nervoussystem, but not an autoimmune disease.I do not know the exact cause, but can be hereditary, injury, look at Muhamad Ali and all the blows to his head, or enviromental, Micheal J Fox worked on a TV show in Canada where a good portion of the cast got Parkinsons younger than the Norm. Leading researcher (not just his cluster case, but others) that it can have enviromental componenets as well. There may also be a genetic link, like there is with all 3 of these illnesses. Each has organizations on the internet if you want more info.
Hope this helped
lupus and ms are auto immune problems, parkinsons is mostly men mostly inherrited, i suppose some symptoms could be the same, but all of them have lots of symptoms.
Lupus and multiple sclerosis are autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the self. Parkinson's is not. The symptoms of lupus and ms can be similar at times. Some people have both, that is lupus and ms in overlap. In lupus the immune system can and does attack any organ and system. In ms the immune system attacks the myelin sheath of the nerve pathways and impacts organs that way. Lupus and ms are very unpredictable. I don't know as much about parkinsons.

What do I need to market a heathy drink, that have the power to reduse or treat high blood sugar?

Answer:
Clinical trials, proof that it does what you say, and FDA approval. You're making health claims, and the FDA takes that very seriously. Even if it's "just a drink" making the claim that it can reduce or treat high blood sugar puts it into a very different regulatory category.
You need a product that can actually reduce blood sugar.
There's a lot of things you'd need to do such as clinical trials getting patents. The list goes on.
Well you can't even spell "reduce" so I don't see how you could have come up with a drink that would contain a compound that can actually lower blood sugar, considering nothing like that exists already that actually works. The best thing to treat and reduce high blood sugar is to not eat sweets and carbohydrates, and most intelligent people already follow that idea, so they don't need a drink that can't possibly exist to help them.
Drinks with chromium picolinate (sp?). Educational guess.

What do i have?!?!?

I have appendicitis-like symptoms- mid-abdominal pain that slowly moved to the right side, naseua, and diaharrea. It hurts worse when I walk. I feel like I am about to pass out all the time. I thought it could be appendicitis, but I went to the ER and everything came back normal-my urine test, my blood work, and my CT scan. I'm at a loss. What do I have?
Answer:
Appendicitis doesn't occur in the mid abdomen, it's a lower right quadrant pain. What you're describing sounds like a gallbladder problem. You may have cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder) or cholelithiasis (gallstones). An ultrasound can rule that out. In addition, if you do have these problems, they won't show up on blood work or in urine and CT is rarely sensitive enough to pick it up. Hope you fell better soon!
Um...you need to get to a doctor or an emergency room fast. Your completely wasting your time on ByeDr.coms.
sorry hunny I think you might be pregnant..good luck with that
it sounds like you have Scrapie...
the er didn't have any idea? I JUST got my appendix out and that sounds exactly like my syptoms. to tell the truth, i would go back! If you don't feel comfortable with that though, go see your regular doctor.
I'd see an internist, if I were you, and SOON. It sounds like it could be appendicitis, gallstones, or kidney stones.

What do i have? is it heat exhaustion?

all of today and yesterday i was out in the sun at the lake and i used sun screen but on the 3 hour car ride home i was still in my wet swim suit and the windows were down so i was freezing and i had very bad sunburns so i was burning up, there was a lot of traffic so it ended up being about 4 hours in the car and by the time i got home i couldnt even stand up, i took a cool bath and drank a lot of water and felt a little better but still... im dizzy, my stomach really really hurts, and my hearts beating a little fast?? help? and by the way everyone in my house is sleeping so i cant get any sports drinks and i hate hospitals, so say that i should see a doctor as much as you want but i wont go... is there anything that could help?
Answer:
Yes, you are pretty severely dehydrated. You are right so far, you need to continue to sip cool water - but you also need to eat a light meal to replenish your electrolytes. Feel better.
HEY TERRA, SOUNDS LIKE YOU OVER EXPOSED IN THE SUN AND LITTLE BIT OF HEAT STROKE I AM NO DOCTOR BUT GOING TO DOCTOR MIGHT JUST BE YOUR ANSWER.....YOU MIGHT NEED SOME IV FLUIDS THIS IS NOTHING TO PLAY AROUND WITH AT ANY AGE. I DO NOT LIKE TO SEE DRS. EITHER,BUT SOME TIMES IT IS NESS
Hello dear!By now I suppose (and wish) all is back to normal! Most likely you will feel somehow itchy, your skin feels stretching, have a little skin pain, fell a little hot and dizzy, but it is all fine, now! Drink liquids (not coffee and tee, no sugar (cola, etc.)).
Have fruits and vegetables. In the medium and long run you are excelling! Enjoy!

What do I do...?

A friend in my class was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and he's been through 2 surgeries in 2 weeks. Plus he's been through cemo-therapy like 3 times now. And he won't be coming to school during the fall because he has more cemo-therapy! How can I help him? Oh and he's one of my friends.
Answer:
write a letter, give him a call, e-mail, send a goofy card. anything to keep in contact til you get back and can visit. the best thing you can do is to let him know that you haven't forgotten him or given up the friendship b/c he's ill. he's gonna be laid up a bit due to chemo. getting a letter or a call will really brighten his day.
stand by him and let him know u are always there for him
visit him in the hospital
send him cards in the mail to his house- there are like 99 cent ones avail...
just be his friend
You need to just be there
There really isn't much you can do you have to leave that up to the doctors and God if you believe. Be as positive as you can because he already knows all the negatives.
Depends what age group you 2 belong to and If he still lives with his parents.Just continue to be his friend. Go over and visit him. Play some board games or go for walks around the block when he feels up to it. If he lives alone, clean his house for him and cook his meals.
visit as much as comfortable for him
keep him informed about what's happening with your friends and school
keep the school informed of his condition
see what his dietary limits may be, then bring whatever snacks he is allowed
encourage other friends to take an interest, maybe take them with you sometimes
go to the library for himthanks for having genuine concern:it's really needed in this loveless world
Just be his friend, don't ask to many question, let him talk and listening... Ask only: what you need and what can I do for you?
There really isn't anything that you can do about his brain tumor. There is something that you can do as his friend and that is to not forget about him when you start school. One of the biggest problems that kids with cancer have is feeling isolated from their friends. So, the best thing that you can do is go visit him, go places with him when he feels well, be understanding and patient, and just treat him as normal as possible. When you start school make sure you call him or go see him as much as possible. Keep him informed about what is going on at school or with your friends. Encourage him to go out with you, to forget about his treatment and disease for awhile. The best thing you could do is . . stay his friend.
Just keep him in your prayers, that's the best you can do
