What do you do if you think you have skin cancer, but no medical insurance?

Answer:
i just went through this. i went and had the spot removed and tested. it cost a little over 200. that is without any insurance. but i worked it out so i pay like 25$ a month. just talk to them. its better to check it out then die.
you have to pay the bills yourself..
See if you can get assistance. Your doctors office or county health dept can direct you. There are programs for low income or people who are uninsured to get care. Good luck.
Baby, you go to the "free" hospital in your area. Every major city should have a hospital that "takes what you can pay."Find yours, set up an appointment with their dermatologist, ask about payment options when you call, and go get your peace of mind.
Go to any emergency room hospital they must except you.
You can also apply for welfare medical only through the state.
I'm in agreeance here with a few others. Find the local "county" hospital in your area. Usually you can set up a monthly payment plan. That's what my husband and I have to do until we get benefits with my job. It's better than nothing and the county hospital HAS to see you. They can't turn you away.
